The Franchise Operations department plays a key role in managing the relationships with existing Studio Owners to help them in whatever way possible to succeed in their business.  The Sales Manager / Franchise Ops Director Position will lead, direct and coordinate the activity of Regional Business Consultants as well as internal staff so that the collective team works to assist Studio Owners grow their businesses.

Essential Job Functions (Please note that the following description is not meant to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities and metrics but to highlight some key ones).

Direct the strategies and activities of the Regional Business Consultants (RBC’s) who travel across the country to: 1) meet and work with Studio Owners to analyze their businesses and advise them on the best practices to increase their sales and profits; 2) recruit and meet with potential applicants for incremental distribution opportunities;

In conjunction with business priorities and Marketing calendar, develop creative sales incentives and programs for both the RBC’s and Studios.

Liaison with the Director of Education and execute all go to market strategies for new products, programs and educational materials needed to grow the studio’s business with RBCs.    

Direct the activity of all Account Executive Representatives who are responsible for maintaining the most up-to-date and accurate files on each Studio.  Coordinate the approvals, sharing of information and documents within the organization regarding changes in Studio status as appropriate.

Manage the Gold Medallion program by identifying, qualifying and validating the status of owners and communicating status within the organization for the benefits of the program.  Also, responsible for managing the inventory, credits and other details of the Gold Medallion program with an eye for fiscal responsibility and overall benefits of the program to the company.

Manage the Secret Shopper program from setting up contracts with vendors and organizing the list of Studios to be secretly shopped.  Share relevant information with Studio, RBC and relevant personnel as appropriate.

Lead the process of paying tribute to Studio Owners for Service Pins, Anniversaries and key events per the current standards of acknowledgement.

Coordinate the necessary documentation for international Studio Owners to effectively deliver goods across customs.

Maintain accurate list of all Studio information (sales, openings, closures, etc).

Insure that all personnel in the department are following company guidelines and that all appropriate documents are executed in a timely manner (e.g. attendance, performance, etc).

Assist with outbound calls to Studio Owners depending on the needs of the business.

Any other assignments required to help accomplish company goals.


College degree a plus.  8-10 years experience in a sales/office environment (manufacturing business a plus); familiarity with sales management and/or customer service a plus. Experience managing staff effectively. Franchised based experience is a plus.
